The Mad Batter Café is a full service café offering breakfast and brunch daily; from traditional items like a croissant sandwich and biscuits and gravy, to our house created items like our famous potato Hash and our Billy Goat sandwich.
For lunch, we offer a variety of salads to burgers, to different sandwiches. As well as our brunch items are available too. Our menu every week changes to keep it fresh and exciting. There are some staples though; our bacon jam burger is made with our AMAZING Bacon Jam. Made in house, and perfected, it is a crowd pleaser.
Our bakery always has a HUGE selection of pastries, all baked in house from scratch. Cupcakes, cake pops, French Macarons, cookies, biscotti, peanut brittle, scones, croissants, and our famous CRUFFINS filled with our house-made Strawberry Jam.
Come by and give us a try. There is something for everyone here.

ABOUT THE OWNER
Brittney Belanger is the previous owner of Cravin’ Cake Bakery – spearheading the bakery inspiration of Mad Batter.
How it started…
Growing up I wanted to be a teacher- I know very different then a pastry chef/decorator. Once I started college, I quickly realized teaching High school kids is something I didn’t have patience for. Working in a grocery store while going to school, I started working in the bakery department baking. On my spare time, I got to help the decorators- and that’s where the story begins! I fell in love with it!
I switched my major to Pastry Arts, and became obsessed- researching, watching ‘how to’ videos, and writing everything down that I learned. I was like a sponge, soaking up all the knowledge I could. I was definitely a person that took my pastry school seriously.
I attended CSN Pastry Arts program- which for those of you that don’t know… they have an amazing program!- yes that is an endorsement. 🙂
Working and decorating full time, creating custom cakes, wedding cakes and desserts for 3 years in a grocery store.
Then I worked at Aria Hotel and Casino at Jean-Philippe Patisserie. Creating chocolates and confections on all kinds really opened up my mind and expanded my knowledge of the pastry field, some of which I was previously nervous to jump into… chocolate bon-bons, brittles, nougats, chocolate molds and sculptures- now something I love to create!
In 2010- I started my own business – Cravin’ Cake Bakery. From that point, my world has surrounded everything cake! Learning to do everything myself, and understanding what true sacrifice means, made me appreciate things.
